Product description

NutrastanXP Liquid Filled Capsules has more advantages over soft gels like, low moisture intake, enhanced bioavailability and high absorption rate

  1. This is a high quality supplement. We did a little research and this is supposed to really aid in female health. It is supposed to help with change of life issues and help keep women in better overall health. It is also supposed to help with skin issues. My wife just started using it and says that she has noticed her skin feels softer (after 4 doses) and that the bags under her eyes seem to be fading. She said there is no funny aftertaste or any intestinal issues. Our research really didn’t turn up any real serious side effects (mostly just some minor gut issues for those sensitive to this and some people complained that it gave them an odd aftertaste) As with any supplement you should talk to your doctor before using.

  2. I was very pleased to find these. I think primrose oil helps me, and this is cold pressed, so it’s a higher quality than what I usually buy. The pills in my usual brand are enormous compared to these. And you can see the oil moving around inside the pill container in this brand, which leads me to believe less is needed because of its purity. Here’s the weird thing, and I’ve never seen it before. The pills are packaged in the bottle per usual, with a seal on top that has to be pulled off. However, the pills are stuff into a ziplock bag and the whole thing, bag and all, are stuffed into the bottle. WTH? I struggled with getting it out for a bit, then decided I’d just leave the whole thing in there until I’d used enough pills for it to slip out easily.Strange, don’t you think? I didn’t take a star off for it, but what are they thinking?Thank you for reading my review. I have done my best to give you a detailed and honest opinion. 3. Evening primrose oil has many benefits for women. Such as heart health, helping with hot flashes, acne, skin in general. Lots of other benefits. These arrived sealed in the bottle inside of a zip bag I am guessing to contain leakage, mine however, had no leaks at all. They arrived fine. I have been taking these for a couple of weeks. I will continue to take these over the next few months and report back with a more in depth review. So far so good.

  4. These are packed differently than any other supplement I’ve ever had. I suppose that since the oil is in hard capsule instead of being a gelcap, they put them in a plastic bag lest one or more bust and leak oil, but I don’t think it would make any difference since with or without the plastic bag oil would get all over all of them. Luckily none were broken or leaking but I can’t pull the bag out of the bottle. Each capsule is almost full of oil with a little open space at one end. I can swallow them fine but a gelcap is easier. As far as health benefits go I believe this primrose oil is as good as the others I have reviewed in the past. I have not felt any ill effects and I think my hot flashes are less intense.

  5. I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this evening primrose. When I first opened the bottle I was surprised to see that the capsules came in a plastic bag crammed into the bottle. I was unable to pull the bag out so I just shake out one pill at a time. The capsule has a strange red ring around the center. I’m not quite sure what it is but I’m thinking maybe it’s some kind of bonding agent that holds it together? Aside from the strange appearance they seem to be really good. I have been taking evening primrose for about a year now but this is the first time using this brand. I take one in the morning and one in the evening.

  6. I have been meaning to add evening primrose oil to my daily vitamins and finally did. I take multiple vitamins for various things, different times of the day. This one I take after breakfast (with others) and in the afternoon (solo).I don’t know if I’m really getting all of the benefits that I’ve read that comes with EPO, but I do know I am a bit more energetic since adding this to my regimen.I did find it odd to have it bagged inside of the bottle, I just ended up removing them from the bag and adding them to the bottle, no big issue and I didn’t have oily residue that I noticed from any of the capsules.

  7. I have read many articles on the benefits of evening primrose oil. It helps with menstrual cramps, which I suffer from monthly. I am pleased to say that I did notice a lessening in the severity of my cramps while using this supplement. It wasn’t life-changing, but I would rather take a more natural supplement instead of medication. They are easy to swallow, though a little bigger than I was expected. Overall, I am pleased with this supplement and will definitely continue taking it.

  8. I have been taking these for a little over a week. Since the weather is changing here my skin usually starts to get dryer and often my eczema will act up. So far I think this may be helping keep my skin more moisturized, in addition to my normal skin care regiment. The bottle was sealed and non-tampered when I received it. My pills were in a plastic bag, it is not common but I have noticed this more and more often with supplements. Particularity, when the pills may degrade if exposed to moister, like gel pills. Personally, I would rather my pills come to me in an annoying little baggie then have the company toss a “freshness pack” in my bottle and I accidentally take that. Also, those little fresh pack things have tiny gel looking balls that could easily be confused as pills if you didn’t know or understand. There have been no unusual or bad smells when opening the bottle. The gel caps are easy to swallow and have no lingering after taste. I have had no adverse effects and since I also recently just had my annual check up all of my blood work and levels came back in the normal mid range levels.

  9. Evening primrose oil can help with skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis which is why I’m trying it. Research indicates it also helps with heart health. All good news to me.This is not my 1st time using a product by Nutrastan. I’m familiar with their oil being placed in a baggie and then into a bottle (which is also sealed). Personally, I like it as everything is very secure. Gel caps tend to stick together after awhile (even Advil gel caps) and the baggie might help with this. Who knows, maybe it’s just an alternative to using cotton. As for the stripe on the cap? It’s on my other product as well. I pay it no mind as I see it just as a dye seal. Maybe it’s a Nutrastan branding. Either way, it’s hardly a deterrent as other reviews indicated. I’m looking forward to taking these.

  10. At first, I wasn’t sure about all the benefits of Evening Primrose Oil (EPO), and I’ve never taken it, so I Googled it. Here’s what I found:”Evening primrose oil nourishes the skin, hair, nails, even the joints. The GLA it contains helps strengthen the skin barrier and reduces moisture loss. EPO has anti-inflammatory effects without the side effects of anti-inflammatory drugs.” Sounds great to me!I’ve started adding these capsules to my daily vitamin regimen. I haven’t experienced any ill effects. The pills have a red plastic band around each one in the middle – that’s to seal the two halves together. I’ve seen some reviewers indicate there’s something wrong because of the band. There isn’t. People have also commented about the plastic bag inside holding the capsules – also not a big deal – it keeps them from sticking together that way. (“Don’t believe everything you read.” LOL)I’m really looking forward to the benefits this supplement will provide. There are even articles on the web about EPO helping with weight loss! YAY!Two thumbs up for EPO!Thanks for reading our review.

  11. Evening primrose oil is thought to relieve skin disorders such as eczema and psoriasis. I have occasional breakouts of eczema that can be stubborn and not respond to topical treatments. So I have added this to my daily supplements. I suspect it will take some time to work; however, it is not causing any problems or side effects.I find the packaging – a baggie inside the bottle – to be a little odd. It would have been nice had that been noted on the product page. My first thoughts were that something was amiss, until I read that other reviewers received the same packaging.
